2024 JuJu Brents & Folks Gala
On December 10, 2024, JuJu and his mother hosted their first gala to celebrate and strengthen the mission of their foundation. The event aimed to raise awareness beyond the communities JuJu and Serena are working to support. Funds raised will directly benefit families by creating opportunities for healthier lifestyles and brighter futures.
Christmas Giveaway
In 2023, JuJu and Serena launched their first Christmas Giving initiative, an act of kindness designed to support single parents who may find the holiday season challenging. This effort allows Serena and JuJu to connect with families, sharing kindness, joy, and hope. The goal is to help families envision and embrace a brighter, enriched future.
Community Day/Backpack Giveaway
We are grateful for our partnership with New Beginnings Fellowship Church as we celebrate our third annual Community Day. Families enjoyed bounce houses, food trucks, face painting, free haircuts, free school sports physicals, and access to community resource information. JuJu, along with his NFL teammates, brought smiles to many children by signing autographs and taking pictures with them.
Together, the JuJu Brents and Folks Foundation and New Beginnings Fellowship Church gave away more than 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies, helping students begin the school year prepared and confident.
We Live
We Live, founded in 2017 by co-founder Julius Brents (“Juju”), along with his cousin and classmates, was established as a youth-led organization. It was created in response to the loss of classmates to gun violence. We Live raises awareness and empowers students to create safer communities through education and advocacy.
